Triple Point Launches 7.75% Listed Bond to Boost UK SME Lending Access
By Lauren Towner · 13 October 2026

Secured Fixed Income plc has launched a second bond offer under its £1 billion programme, providing retail and wholesale investors access to a 7.75% fixed-rate yield. By bridging the gap between private credit and the public markets, the Triple Point-backed vehicle is funneling capital into high-growth sectors including SME finance and Islamic fintech.
What was announced
The Issuer is offering 7.75% bonds with a three-year term, following a debut issue that raised £14.15 million and was fully deployed within one month. These bonds pay interest semi-annually and will be redeemed at 100% of their nominal value upon maturity. To ensure accessibility for both retail and wholesale participants, the bonds are issued in small denominations of £100, with a minimum initial investment requirement of £1,000.
The offer period is scheduled to close at 12 noon on 23 November 2026. Following the close, the bonds are expected to be listed on the FCA’s Official List and admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, including the electronic order book for fixed income securities (OFIS), on or around 30 November 2026. Investors can access the offer through major platforms including AJ Bell, Hargreaves Lansdown, Interactive Investor, and LGB & Co, with Allia C&C serving as the Lead Manager.
Proceeds will support a diversified loan portfolio spanning SME debt, corporate leasing, infrastructure, and specialty finance. Recent deployments from the previous issue include a Shariah-compliant facility for the UK Islamic fintech Ayan Capital, an acquisition package for Red Sky Group to purchase Delenco Foods Limited, and development finance for a residential scheme in Fulham. The Issuer maintains a net loan book of £107 million, up from £48 million in FY2022, with a historical loss rate of 0.5% for the year ended 31 March 2026.
"This second issue builds on the strong response to the debut offer, and gives investors a further option, with interest paid twice yearly for those seeking regular income over the life of the bonds. The Issuer has a 100% track record of paying interest and principal in full and on time since inception, and this issue allows us to continue supporting UK small and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”) and businesses with the secured, flexible lending they need to grow, while offering investors a predictable, disciplined route to fixed income."
Toby Furnivall, Managing Director at Triple Point Private Credit.

What FF News has reported before
FF News has extensively tracked Triple Point’s activity in the UK lending and fintech space. We previously reported on how Triple Point Backs Ayan Capital with £75M Shariah-Compliant Facility for Halal Car Finance, a move that directly supported the fintech’s efforts to provide ethical financing. This was followed by coverage of how Ayan Capital Secures £75M Facility to Launch UK’s Next Halal Digital Bank, highlighting the deployment of capital into the Islamic finance sector. Additionally, FF News covered the firm’s broader credit activities, such as when Triple Point Supports Pelican Capital’s Investment in Steplab with Debt Facility, demonstrating its role in facilitating private equity-backed acquisitions.
What this means
This announcement highlights the accelerating "retailisation" of private credit, a sector once reserved for large institutional players. By offering 7.75% in a shifting interest rate environment, Triple Point is positioning itself against traditional fixed-income products that often lack the same yield profile. The speed at which the debut £14.15 million was deployed suggests a significant funding gap in the UK SME market, where traditional banks continue to retrench. For the wider fintech industry, the inclusion of Shariah-compliant facilities like Ayan Capital within the bond’s portfolio signals that ethical and niche finance is becoming a mainstream component of diversified debt instruments. The pressure is now on traditional lenders to match the flexibility and speed of these listed debt vehicles.
