Global X Unveils Major Brand Refresh and Transformed Digital Experience for Investors
By Lauren Towner · 19 October 2026

Global X has launched a comprehensive brand refresh and its largest-ever integrated media campaign to better serve financial advisors and retail investors. The overhaul includes a transformed digital platform designed to streamline access to its 120 funds, reflecting a strategic shift to modernize the user experience as the firm manages $93 billion in assets.
What was announced
The transformation was informed by extensive research, including interviews with over 700 financial advisors and retail investors, alongside internal stakeholders and clients. These data-driven insights led to a website redesign focused on a streamlined client experience, allowing visitors to navigate 120 different funds more efficiently. Key features include improved fund detail pages that prioritize essential data, a unified search experience for both fund information and thought leadership, and a "compare funds" tool that enables users to evaluate strategies across different fund families. Site visitors can also search for funds using more detailed parameters and access a simplified subscription process for newsroom content.
The brand refresh, which took nine months to complete, aims to elevate user experience through personalization and faster content deployment via new internal tools. This is being supported by Global X's largest-ever integrated media campaign, launching this month across print and digital versions of influential newspapers and magazines, podcasts, social media, and streaming TV. The firm is also deploying digital billboards, marking its second use of out-of-home advertising in two years. The campaign is designed to create a digital funnel that allows the firm to measure the impact of visitor demand and the effectiveness of its content deployment.
Global X currently manages a diverse lineup of funds covering disruptive technology, equity income, commodities, and core strategies. As of September 30, 2026, the firm reported $93 billion in assets under management (AUM). The project was handled by an in-house design team tasked with creating a visual identity that balances a fresh look with the firm's nearly 20-year history as an industry challenger.
"The brand defines our story and the website brings it to life. Now we’re sharing them with the world by launching the most expansive integrated media campaign in our history."

The companies involved
Global X Management Company LLC was established in 2008, positioning itself as an industry challenger focused on thematic investing and innovative solutions. Over nearly two decades, it has evolved from a boutique asset manager into a significant player in the ETF space, targeting emerging technologies and changing consumer preferences. The firm has built its reputation on offering unexplored investment solutions, now maintaining a portfolio of 120 ETFs that span international markets and various asset classes, including equity income and core thematic funds.
The firm is a member of Mirae Asset Financial Group, a global financial services leader headquartered in South Korea. Mirae Asset operates an extensive global ETF platform with a presence in major markets including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. As of May 31, 2026, Mirae Asset reported total assets under management of $801 billion worldwide. This corporate backing provides Global X with significant global reach and resources while it maintains its specialized focus on thematic and disruptive investment strategies. The firm’s growth to $93 billion in AUM highlights its established scale within the highly competitive US ETF market.
What this means
This move signals a maturing of the thematic ETF sector, where firms can no longer rely solely on niche products to attract capital. By investing heavily in a "digital funnel" and advisor-centric tools, Global X is acknowledging that the battle for assets is moving from product design to distribution efficiency and user experience. As the ETF market becomes increasingly crowded, legacy thematic providers are under pressure to prove they can offer the same institutional-grade digital infrastructure as the industry’s largest issuers. The focus on data-driven insights from 700 advisors suggests a defensive play to secure loyalty in a market where ease of access to fund data is a primary differentiator for wealth managers. Ultimately, the commoditization of investment products is forcing firms to compete on the quality of their digital interfaces and the strength of their brand narrative.
