Zero Hash and EDGE Markets have launched a real-time crypto funding integration for EDGE Boost customers, enabling 24/7 account funding via stablecoins, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. This partnership addresses the critical need for instant liquidity in prediction markets and gaming, sectors that operate outside traditional banking hours and require onchain infrastructure to maintain transaction velocity.

What was announced

The partnership introduces a live integration powered by the Zero Hash Account Funding product. This capability allows eligible EDGE Boost customers to fund their accounts instantly at any time, including nights and weekends, using stablecoins and major digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. A key feature of this integration is the ability for users to link their EDGE Boost wallets directly to major cryptocurrency platforms, including Coinbase, Gemini, and Robinhood. This connectivity facilitates the seamless exchange of authorized digital assets into U.S. dollars within the EDGE ecosystem.

The move is a response to the shifting nature of retail trading and gaming. As prediction markets, digital assets, and sports betting move toward an "always-on" model, the underlying financial infrastructure must move at the same speed. For EDGE Markets, this integration is a component of a broader strategy to establish real-time financial rails for modern markets. Since its launch in 2025, the EDGE Boost platform has processed more than $2 billion in transactions. This latest development follows the June introduction of EDGE Connect, the company’s real-time payment rail specifically designed for prediction markets. The companies previously established a relationship in May 2026 with crypto-to-fiat conversion capabilities, and this expansion moves that functionality into real-time stablecoin account funding.

"Extending real-time stablecoin funding to EDGE Markets allows customers to move money at the same velocity as the markets that they are active in," said Adam Tesan, Chief Revenue Officer at zerohash. "We're excited to support EDGE Markets as we continue scaling the onchain infrastructure that always-on markets require."

The companies involved

Zero Hash is an onchain infrastructure provider that offers an API and embeddable development kit for banks, brokerages, and fintech firms. The platform enables these institutions to offer cross-border payments, trading, and on/off-ramp products without the need to build their own compliance, custody, or liquidity infrastructure. Zero Hash is a registered Money Services Business in the United States, operating across 51 U.S. jurisdictions, and holds additional regulatory registrations in the EU and Australia. Notably, Zero Hash LLC and Zero Hash Liquidity Services LLC are licensed for virtual currency business activity by the New York State Department of Financial Services.

EDGE Markets provides U.S. banking solutions tailored for emerging verticals such as betting, gaming, and casinos. Its flagship product, EDGE Boost, is a betting-only debit card account. These accounts are FDIC-insured up to $250,000 through a partnership with Cross River Bank. Furthermore, through the IntraFi Network Deposits program, some consumer funds may be eligible for up to $10 million in aggregate FDIC insurance coverage. The EDGE Boost Visa Debit Card is issued by Cross River Bank, utilizing the Visa U.S.A. Inc. network to provide financial transparency for smart bettors.

What FF News has reported before

FF News has recently tracked the increasing integration of digital assets into consumer spending and specialized market verticals. In August 2026, we reported on how Tria Integrates Robinhood Chain to Enable Real-World Asset Spending via Tria Card, a move that similarly aimed to bridge the gap between onchain assets and debit card utility. The trend of moving niche market activities onchain was also highlighted in our coverage of how Securitize and Socios.com Partner to Bring Tokenized Sports Team Equity Onchain. These developments underscore a broader industry shift where traditional financial barriers, such as market closing times and settlement delays, are being systematically removed to accommodate 24/7 digital economies.

What this means

This integration highlights a growing friction point in the fintech landscape: the disconnect between 24/7 digital markets and legacy banking hours. By enabling instant stablecoin funding, EDGE Markets and Zero Hash are effectively bypassing the traditional weekend settlement lag that plagues standard neo-banks. This puts significant pressure on traditional payment providers who still rely on ACH or slower rails for account funding in high-velocity sectors like gaming. As prediction markets gain mainstream traction, the industry is moving toward a reality where "always-on" liquidity is no longer a premium feature but a baseline requirement. The success of this model will likely depend on how effectively these onchain rails can navigate the complex regulatory environment surrounding digital asset-funded betting.
