AND Global Joins Tokyo Stock Exchange Asia Startup Hub to Accelerate Japanese Expansion
By Lauren Towner · 8 October 2026

AND Global has been selected for the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Asia Startup Hub, a move that signals deepening ties between Southeast Asian fintech and Japanese capital markets. For fintech professionals, this represents a significant bridge for cross-border scaling and potential public listings in one of Asia’s most established financial centers.
What was announced
AND Global has been named as one of 23 companies selected for the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Asia Startup Hub. This initiative, launched in 2024, is designed to recruit and support high-potential Asian startups that maintain strategic connections to Japan. The program provides a framework for these companies to expand their local market presence, establish partnerships with Japanese corporations, and access new financing opportunities. Crucially, the hub assists participants in preparing for potential future listings on the TSE, a move that aligns with Japan's national strategy to attract overseas innovation.
The announcement, made by the TSE on September 25, 2026, places AND Global in a cohort representing 10 countries and regions. The fintech group already maintains a significant commercial footprint in Japan, where its flagship technologies are integrated into the operations of major financial entities. These products include Looms, a platform for digital lending and collection, and Mindox, an intelligent document processing solution. Currently, these tools are utilized by AEON Financial Service and Global Trust Networks (GTN) to automate credit scoring and optimize digital identity workflows. The company’s recent Series B funding round, which secured $21.4 million, saw participation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), AEON Financial Service, Marubeni, SBI Holdings, and Premium Group, further cementing its ties to the Japanese investment community.
"Japan is more than a market for AND Global, it is a key partner in shaping our growth across Asia. Joining the TSE Asia Startup Hub allows us to further accelerate capital and commercial partnerships with Japanese market leaders, strengthen cross-border financial innovation between Japan and Asia, and advance our mission to become a premier Asian Fintech company, with a future TSE listing in sight."
Khos-Erdene Baatarhuu, CEO of AND Global.
The companies involved
AND Global operates across the Asia-Pacific region, having evolved from its initial roots as a digital lender in Mongolia. The group now functions as a regional fintech platform, utilizing its subsidiary, AND Solutions, to deliver AI-powered lending, credit intelligence, and digital transformation tools to financial institutions. Its technology suite, including the Looms and Mindox products, is currently active in 11 countries.
Supporting this growth are several major Japanese institutions. SBI Holdings, a prominent financial services group based in Tokyo, has been a consistent partner. The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, led the company’s recent $21.4 million Series B funding round alongside AEON Financial Service. Other strategic backers include Marubeni, a major Japanese integrated trading and investment business, and Premium Group. The Tokyo Stock Exchange, where AND Global now holds a spot in the Asia Startup Hub, is the primary securities exchange in Japan and one of the largest in the world by market capitalization.

What this means
The selection of AND Global for the TSE Asia Startup Hub highlights a strategic pivot in the Asian fintech ecosystem, where Japan is aggressively positioning itself as the preferred destination for high-growth tech listings. By offering a structured pathway for startups from Mongolia, Southeast Asia, and beyond, the Tokyo Stock Exchange is challenging the traditional dominance of Singapore and Hong Kong as regional financial hubs. This move places pressure on other exchanges to provide similar cross-border support and liquidity. For the industry, it raises a critical question: can the TSE’s institutional depth overcome the linguistic and regulatory hurdles that have historically limited foreign tech listings in Japan?
