INGOT Group has launched Rise, a mobile-first trading application designed to capture a new generation of market participants. For fintech professionals, this represents a significant pivot by a twenty-year-old brokerage to compete in the high-velocity retail trading space, leveraging institutional-grade regulation to challenge more agile, digital-native startups.

What was announced

Marking its 20th anniversary, INGOT Group introduced Rise as a standalone brand and application. The platform is specifically engineered to reduce friction between market discovery and execution, targeting traders who source their information from social and cultural channels. The app provides access to more than 1,000 CFD instruments across eight global markets, including commodities such as oil and gold, stocks, indices, and digital assets.

To differentiate itself in a crowded retail market, Rise has implemented a "first trade" guarantee. New clients who lose on their initial position receive an automatic refund of up to $100 within ten minutes, requiring no manual claim process. The onboarding workflow has been streamlined to allow users to move from registration to a funded account within the span of a coffee break.

The technical and product direction of the app is led by a dedicated team, distinct from INGOT’s traditional brokerage services. Rise is operated by INGOT SC Ltd, which is registered in the Seychelles and authorized by the Financial Services Authority of the Seychelles under Securities Dealer Licence number SD117. Despite the new branding, the group emphasizes that the platform is backed by two decades of multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance.

"Every screen in Rise had to answer one question before it shipped: does this get a trader closer to the position they came to take, or does it get in the way? A lot of what people expect to find in a trading app did not survive that question,"

Ahmad Khawanky, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Rise.

The companies involved

INGOT Group is a multi-licensed brokerage firm founded in 2006. Over the last two decades, the group has established a global footprint with five physical offices located in Cyprus, Dubai, Jordan, Kenya, and Sydney. The firm operates under six different regulatory licenses, providing a level of oversight that distinguishes it from many offshore retail platforms. Its primary business model has historically focused on personal service and specialist support for serious traders under the Ingot.io brand.

The group has also integrated itself into broader cultural and educational sectors. Both Ingot.io and Rise serve as official regional partners for LaLiga in the MENA region, utilizing sports sponsorship to drive brand recognition. Furthermore, INGOT Group maintains university partnerships and market simulation programs that have supported over 2,500 students. The new entity, INGOT SC Ltd, serves as the operational vehicle for the Rise application, while the parent group continues to manage its established brokerage clientele through existing teams.

What FF News has reported before

The retail trading and digital asset space has seen rapid evolution recently. FF News previously covered how Stablecoins Dominate Crypto Purchases as Mercuryo Reports 60% Share in H1 2026, highlighting the shift toward digital assets that Rise now facilitates. Additionally, the intersection of mobile technology and financial access was noted in the report on how Movement, El Vecino and RISE Launch WhatsApp Digital Dollar Wallet for U.S.-Mexico Remittances. The trend of leveraging major sports partnerships to drive trading volume was also seen when ADFX Boosts Global Trading Strategy with Mobile App V4 Launch and LaLiga Partnership.

What this means

The launch of Rise signals a defensive and offensive move by established brokerages against the "gamification" of trading. By stripping away traditional interface elements that "get in the way," INGOT is acknowledging that the modern retail trader values speed and UX over the dense data visualizations of the past. The automatic $100 loss refund is a aggressive customer acquisition tactic that puts immediate pressure on smaller competitors who lack the balance sheet to offer similar downside protection.

However, the sector remains under intense scrutiny regarding how "frictionless" onboarding should be. While a ten-minute funding cycle is a technical achievement, it raises questions about the depth of suitability checks in an era of heightened volatility. The industry must now decide if the future of retail trading lies in being a background utility for social-driven decisions or a robust standalone analytical tool.
