BingX Integrates Alpaca Infrastructure to Launch U.S. Stock Trading with Crypto Assets
By Lauren Towner · 14 October 2026

BingX has integrated Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure to enable direct U.S. stock and ETF trading for its global user base. By allowing traders to fund equity positions using USDT and USDC, the platform bridges the gap between digital assets and traditional securities, offering a unified environment for multi-asset portfolio management without the need for fiat conversions.
What was announced
BingX is launching access to more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This integration with Alpaca allows eligible users to trade traditional securities directly through the BingX platform. Crucially, the system utilizes Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure, meaning these are not tokenized derivatives but actual U.S. securities subject to standard custody, clearing, and settlement processes.
Traders can execute market or limit orders 24 hours a day, five days a week. The barrier to entry is notably low, with a minimum investment requirement of just $5. Users can fund these trades using their existing holdings of stablecoins like USDT and USDC, removing the friction of wire transfers or the necessity of opening separate brokerage accounts. This setup is designed to provide a seamless transition between crypto assets and traditional equities.
To support the rollout, BingX is running a promotional campaign from October 9 to October 23, featuring a $200,000 "Stocks Mystery Box." During this period, eligible users who complete their first U.S. stock trade can receive $10 in Tesla (TSLA) stock. This move is designed to cater to a growing segment of retail investors who seek to manage diverse asset classes—ranging from cryptocurrencies to established equities—within a single interface.
"Expanding access to U.S. stocks is another step in making global market opportunities more accessible to BingX users. As markets become increasingly interconnected, developments across equities, commodities, currencies and digital assets can influence one another. By extending access to U.S. stocks through Alpaca's brokerage infrastructure, we're giving users more ways to engage with these markets within a unified multi-asset platform."
Kevin Lee, Chief Strategy Officer at BingX.
The companies involved
Founded in 2018, BingX has grown into a significant player in the multi-asset trading space, now serving more than 40 million users globally. The platform has historically focused on digital assets but has increasingly moved toward a comprehensive financial services model that includes traditional markets. Its strategy centers on connecting users with a broad range of assets through a single, unified platform.
Alpaca provides the underlying brokerage and clearing infrastructure required for this expansion. Operating as a global agent-first brokerage, Alpaca powers access to both traditional and on-chain asset classes through its APIs. The firm currently supports over 10 million brokerage accounts across hundreds of fintech companies and financial institutions in more than 50 countries. Backed by $400 million in funding, Alpaca’s technology is designed to allow partners to embed U.S. equities into their existing product suites. Yoshi Yokokawa serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Alpaca. This partnership leverages Alpaca’s regulatory and technical framework to allow BingX to offer regulated securities products to its international clientele without the typical overhead associated with building a proprietary brokerage stack from the ground up.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has tracked the steady expansion of both companies as they seek to converge crypto and traditional finance. Recently, we covered how BingX Launches Crypto Card Globally, a move that allowed users to earn cashback on everyday spending. Our coverage of Alpaca has focused on its regulatory milestones, including when Alpaca Secures MAS In-Principle Approval for Singapore Expansion, signaling its intent to deepen its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
The trend of crypto platforms adding traditional equities is accelerating across the industry. We recently reported on a similar move when Bybit Launches U.S. Stock Trading, offering access to 1,000 equities via USDC. Additionally, we have noted broader infrastructure shifts, such as when Bullish and Equiniti Launch Coalition to Scale Issuer-Sponsored Tokenized Securities.
What this means
This integration signals a shift in the retail trading landscape where the distinction between "crypto exchange" and "brokerage" is rapidly dissolving. By offering 7,000+ stocks—significantly more than some competitors—BingX is putting pressure on traditional retail brokers who lack native crypto integration. The ability to trade 24/5 using stablecoins addresses a major pain point for international investors: the slow and costly nature of fiat on-ramps. However, this convergence raises significant questions for regulators regarding the oversight of platforms that facilitate securities trading through digital asset funding. As more platforms adopt this "all-in-one" model, the industry must grapple with the complexities of cross-asset risk management and unified compliance standards.
