Press Release: Autheo to Launch THEO Token on Robinhood Chain via Uniswap v3 | Featured Image by FF News

Autheo is launching its native THEO utility token on Uniswap v3 via the Robinhood Chain on September 10, 2026. This move integrates Autheo’s decentralized "Internet Operating System" with Robinhood’s AI-native Layer 2, signaling a convergence between programmable infrastructure and tokenized traditional financial markets that fintech leaders should monitor as agentic finance matures.

What was announced

The launch of THEO on Uniswap v3 serves as a bridge between Autheo’s economic layer and Robinhood’s permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 blockchain. Built on Arbitrum infrastructure, Robinhood Chain is designed to support 100-millisecond block times and hosts "Stock Tokens"—standard ERC-20 tokenized debt securities that offer exposure to U.S. shares and ETFs. By making THEO available for trading against ETH on this network, Autheo is positioning its utility token within an ecosystem where traditional assets, digital currencies, and AI agents interact onchain.

This deployment marks a shift from Autheo’s development phase to its operational phase. Since the Autheo Mainnet went live on May 14, 2026, the network has recorded over 2.2 million wallet addresses and 10.7 million transactions. The THEO token, which has a fixed maximum supply of 7 billion, functions as the coordination mechanism for the network’s "Mesh"—a distributed layer for compute, storage, and AI execution. Half of the token supply is dedicated to block-emission pools for ecosystem growth and infrastructure providers, while the remainder is subject to smart-contract vesting for the team and strategic operations. Developers can currently build on the EVM-compatible Autheo Mainnet using Solidity and standard Ethereum tooling.

The next phase of the rollout includes the expansion of the Autheo DevHub and the Infrastructure Marketplace. Through this marketplace, providers can contribute resources to the network and earn THEO for supplying capacity. The network aims to allow developers to access economic services without treating individual chains as isolated ecosystems, utilizing the Robinhood ↔ Autheo Mainnet Bridge to facilitate movement between the two environments.

"The technology landscape has tied itself into a Gordian Knot. Every new platform, cloud, chain, application, protocol, and proprietary ecosystem promises another capability, but too often adds another silo, another integration, and another form of lock-in. With each new layer, the knot gets tighter. We keep answering fragmentation with more connectors — bridges, middleware, APIs, wrappers, interoperability networks — until connecting technology becomes nearly as complex as the technology itself. Autheo was built around a different idea: stop trying to untangle the knot one connection at a time. Some problems are not solved by pulling harder at the same threads, but by seeing the problem differently. Change the premise. Cut through it from beneath. The Internet already performs many of the functions we associate with an operating system, but they evolved across separate platforms, protocols, networks, and infrastructure. What it has never had is a common decentralized layer to coordinate, orchestrate, and execute across them. That is what we mean by an Internet Operating System — a foundation designed to bring compute, storage, networking, identity, security, AI, blockchain, and economic services into a more interoperable environment. We’re building beneath the fragmentation rather than adding another connector between its pieces. And once that foundation exists, developers shouldn’t have to reinvent everything above it either."

The companies involved

Autheo is the developer of a decentralized Internet Operating System, led by Founders and Managing Directors Scott Bayless and Todd Mortenson. The company focuses on creating a foundational layer for compute, storage, and identity that sits beneath the fragmented landscape of modern cloud and blockchain services. Its network infrastructure includes the "Mesh" for distributed AI execution and a dedicated Infrastructure Marketplace where resource providers can earn THEO tokens. The company also maintains a Director of Product Marketing, Ryan Teigen.

Robinhood, the financial services firm known for its retail trading platform, operates the Robinhood Chain as an AI-native Layer 2 built on Arbitrum technology. This blockchain is specifically tailored for the integration of traditional financial instruments and decentralized finance (DeFi). A key component of this ecosystem is the use of Chainlink price feeds to support Stock Tokens, which provide onchain exposure to traditional equities without conveying legal ownership. Uniswap, the primary automated market maker on the Robinhood Chain, provides the liquidity infrastructure for the THEO launch. Arbitrum, which provides the underlying scaling technology for the Robinhood Chain, remains a dominant force in the Ethereum Layer 2 market, focusing on high-throughput and low-latency transactions for financial applications.

What this means

The integration of Autheo’s utility token into the Robinhood Chain highlights a growing industry trend: the blurring of lines between infrastructure providers and financial marketplaces. By placing a network-resource token alongside tokenized U.S. equities, the market is moving toward a reality where "compute" and "capital" are traded on the same rails. This puts pressure on traditional cloud providers and legacy brokerages that remain siloed. The success of this model depends on whether AI agents can effectively navigate these unified environments to execute complex financial and technical tasks autonomously. It remains to be seen if this "Internet Operating System" approach can truly bypass the need for the very bridges and middleware it seeks to replace.
